An entrepreneur with a background in Mechanical Engineering (BSc Honours, University of Cape Town), Brendan has vast work experience in the Automotive Manufacturing industry as well as Railway Engineering, having worked as an Engineer for G.U.D Holdings in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Prasa (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa) in Gauteng. Brendan has strong technical capabilities and experience with Internet-of-Things (IoT) hardware technologies having worked in the research and development of the ERS Tech GPS tracking device that Graf-in Tech developed and was granted a provisional patent by ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa – T/A 2019/271). In 2019, he received the Grassroot Innovation Program Award for the ERS Tech tracking device from the TIA (Technology Innovation Agency), an entity of the Department of Science and Innovation.

He is also co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at HyPower Energy, a South African Level 1 BBBEE renewable energy company focused on developing large scale renewable energy projects that will improve the energy security of the country while reducing its carbon footprint.
