Buraaq Mining Services launches a pink forklift in honour of cancer fighters!
On Thursday, 30th October, MEMSA Member Buraaq Mining Services unveiled something truly special – meet Amanath, their pink forklift named in honour of CEO Mr. Sam Kader’s beloved mother, Amanatunisa.
Amanath stands as more than machinery. It is a symbol of unity, compassion, and hope – a reflection of strength, grace, and integrity in the fight against cancer.
The unveiling event brought together six brave cancer survivors and warriors from the Cancer Association; alongside their four dedicated caregivers whose endless patience and love embody divine mercy itself.
The colour pink reminds us that even in hardship, there is beauty. That courage and gentleness can coexist, and that faith can bloom even in life’s most difficult moments.
The name Amanath means “trust” in Arabic – something precious, something sacred, something entrusted to us with love and responsibility.
As the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment.”
To those who have fought and conquered – you are our heroes. To those still fighting – you are never alone. To the families and caregivers – your love is a light in the darkness.
This is about more than awareness – it’s about remembrance, gratitude, and action. It’s about caring more, speaking more, and loving more.
