The NCPC-SA is pleased to share green funding opportunities that are available through projects with our partners:

  • Gauteng Green Programme for SMEs: This is funded by the Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED) and provides financial support for a limited number of SMEs in Gauteng for energy efficiency and renewable energy implementation. Pre-qualification applications will close on 15 April 2022. Click here for criteria and application for pre-qualification.
  • UNIDO / Flanders capex support: Through a project entitled “Strengthened adaptation capacity for a green and resilient economy in South Africa,” the United Nations Industrial Development (UNIDO) and funder the Government of Flanders region of the Kingdom of Belgium, are calling for companies to submit an expression of interest for possible funding. Medium to large industries along the agricultural value chain are eligible to apply to receive a grant co-financing for energy-water nexus interventions. Interested companies can access the bidder guide and application form here and complete the document by following the UNIDO bidder guide. The call will close on 6 May 2022.

We would like to urge NCPC-SA participating companies to make use of these opportunities to further their journey to more sustainable resource use.
